Bulphan Village Community Forum


The next Open Meeeting of Bulphan Village Community Forum will be at 7.30pm on Thursday, 14th September 2017 at Bulphan Village Hall.  Our next event will be "Down Memory Lane" - a display of photos, maps, other documents and artefacts relating to the history of Bulphan, 3 - 8pm on Saturday 30th September 2017 in Bulphan Village Hall.

 Bulphan Village Hall is now a licensed premises, so the bar will be open for most Forum activities!

Village shop update: planning application for an extension to the Village Hall to provide a shop has been approved,the detailed specification has been finalised,  builders are submitting quotes, the Charity Commission have agreed changes to our Constitution so that we can have a shop and distribute the net rental profit to local Community organisations (Bulphan Village Hall, Bulphan in Bloom, Bulphan Village Forum and St. Mary the Virgin, Bulphan)

Thurrock Council are speeding through the legal and administrative details of the lease as quickly as they can: unfortunately, these things take time, but they are progressing.

 Post Office

The Outreach Post Office was officially opened at 1.30pm on Thursday 31st March by ex-postmaster Denis Fewtrell.  They can offer nearly all the services which they provide in Grays Post Office.  And why not pop in and have a chat with Michael (Customer Relationship Manager) about HomePhone, vehicle insurance, life insurance, credit card services, savings and ISA accounts and travel insurance?

The Post Office and Community Cafe are open every Thursday and Friday, 1.30 - 4.30pm
