Toddler Club

When restrictions are not in place, we meet at Bulphan Village Hall on Friday morning drop-in sessions from 10am to 12 noon - normally term-time.

 What is our Toddler Club?

We are a friendly group, run voluntarily by Caroline, Corinne and Michelle, for babies and toddlers up to 5 years old, to attend with their parents, grandparents or carers. We have refreshments for everyone and make a small charge per family, which helps to pay for toys, activities and refreshments.  Let the children play while you enjoy a drink and a chat, or alternatively, join in with their play.

How old can my child be, before they can attend?

You can attend Toddler Club as an expectant mum, with a new born baby, a baby who has just learnt to sit, a toddler and a pre-schooler, or a combination of the above.

The earlier you attend, the more likely you are to establish long term friendships with other parents and carers, you are able to share the expertise of others - if you feel you are on your own, struggling with your baby's demands or feel isolated, or just want to make friends who are interested and enthusiastic about your baby too - then Toddler Club is perhaps the place to find them.

What does it offer me and my child?

~ An environment which encourages social interaction for all
~ Opportunity for children to use large motor skills and try out a variety of ride on toys
~ Free play with a range of toys including larger equipment·
~ Crafts - chalk, colouring, sticking and more
~ Opportunity to role play - dressing up or playing home
~ New experiences with special visitors - the fire service, Father Christmas
~ Table top activities - puzzles, simple games, books to share
~ A carpeted area for the babies with activity frames, cushions and baby toys
~ Friendship and support to carers, parents and grandparents
 and more......

Our philosophy

We encourage children to be kind to each other at all times and ask for your help to ensure that your child’s behaviour does not affect other children’s enjoyment of the group.  Members are expected to show respect for everyone attending the group and treat everything that is said or overheard in confidence.
